Kids Voting Metro Louisville needs hundreds of volunteers to hold a successful Kids Voting election in Louisville. Our greatest need is finding businesses, nonprofit organizations and individuals to "adopt" polling places and staff Kids Voting tables at each polling place on Election Day.

Most volunteers will work only one day — or even just a few hours on one day — as Kids Voting "poll" workers. We need at least one person at each polling place to set up Kids Voting polling booths, hand out ballots and pencils and generally help kids cast their votes in the 2008 Kids Voting election.

Our volunteers find their Kids Voting election day experiences rewarding and fun. It presents an opportunity to be a positive role model for kids that teaches them the importance that we adults place on our cherished American democratic values. And kids love to vote! Their eagerness and excitement make volunteering for Kids Voting a truly rewarding experience.
